  3. Great weekend be back next year unless???
disappointing to find out during the event a Canberra club member complained about grading and was put down, only to win E grade easily. At no time was he noticed to be under any pressure. His time trial was embarassing as he could have comfortably competed in B grade. "Disgraceful" is the word that comes to mind. And the handicapper should be repremanded. Thomas B. should be made apologise to his club and return all prize money. Perhaps next year the lowest grade only has masters riders in it and a minimum number local riders(this grade was dominated by local club riders who ride, race and train these roads) Particularly when visitors travel from long distances and find they are clearly descriminated against, it is not a good feeling and easy to understand, why many of my district riders don't travel when they hear stories like this.

  4. I dont understand:
    1. How someone appears to have gotten 10mins on the bunch when no one escaped??

    2. how i dropped from 2nd to 3rd place on GC by someone who lost several minutes on the TT? (nothing to do with the alledged break).

My lift home to Sydney would not wait for the presentations and I appologised for that.

However, such inexplicable results are inscrutable and/or offensive.

  5. Moderator comment: The dramatic change in results referred to in a previous comment occurred through the correction of mistakes in the published results for the time trial. Adjustments to results were made at the direction of the Chief Commissaire who assessed all available information and made an informed judgement.
